Red Cross

Red Cross are another organisation caring for both old and young in communities across New Zealand. Their work is largely unseen and provide the bare care and small privileges many would otherwise miss out on. Some of the initiatives Red Cross run are:
- Disaster Relief – setting up and running welfare centres for those displaced from their homes by disaster.
- Meals on Wheels – delivering meals to the elderly who are unable to care for themselves.
- First Aid Training
- Mentoring Program for Teenagers – helping them learn trade skills and developing good connections in society.
- Community Transport – driving those unable to drive themselves to various destinations.
- Food packs & gifts – providing food packs and gifts for underprivilege children.
Waterworks are honoured to be able to support such a worthy cause as part of our mission of giving back to the community in our ‘Community Support 2018’ initiative.
