Stainless Steel Globe Valves allow you to regulate the flow in a pipeline. By turning the handwheel it lowers or raises a stainless steel globe within the valve, allowing for incremental flow control. When the globe within the valve is lowered it creates a water-tight metal-to-metal seal, rather than using a rubber seal. The valve has a unique internal system where the water travels in a Z path through the valve, which may restrict the flow of liquid more than other isolation valves, such as a ball valve, resulting in some pressure loss. Stainless Steel Globe valve applications include compressed air, a selection of chemicals, marine applications, and general water reticulation applications.
