Sometimes we all need a little support. The Taranaki Retreat Trust are supporting those men, women, and whanau going through any kind of trauma, depression, anxiety, struggles, or even suicidal thoughts. Hospitality, space and pastoral care are the heartbeat of this vision. The team at Taranaki Retreat are friendly, non-judgemental, and are there to help those in need and make a difference in the lives of many in our communities. They count it a privilege to offer some time out and have seen first-hand how much some space to breathe can offer people the opportunity to see a new way forward or to find hope. Their aim is so help people forward and find a solution which they will also provide ongoing support where required.

Taranaki Retreat estimate they receive around 120 enquiries for support each month and this donation helps cover all aspects of a guests stay at the Retreat for a whole week. The team at Waterworks are honoured to be able to support such a worthy cause as part of our mission of giving back to the community in our ‘Community Support 2019’ initiative.
