Taranaki Rescue Helicopter Trust

The Taranaki Rescue Helicopter Trust is the charity responsible for providing an emergency rescue helicopter service to the Taranaki regional community. When there is a life-threatening emergency, the Taranaki Rescue Helicopter is available 24/7/365 to provide a fast, life-saving air rescue and medical service. Armed with life-saving equipment, rescue personnel and trauma-trained medics, the rescue helicopter is a vital emergency resource to the Taranaki region and is on-call to wider New Zealand.
As of the 19th of December, the Taranaki Rescue Helicopter has performed 186 missions. 55% are Rural Callouts, 85% Rescue Callouts, 15% Medical Transfers, and 7% Marine Callouts.
