Europress 304 Piping System

The Europress 304 Stainless Steel range is an ideal economical option for all installations which don’t require characteristics of 316 Stainless Steel, such as where perfect hygiene is not strictly necessary. It is ideal for systems in humid environments which may be prone to condensation as it doesn’t corrode from external condensation and it can be used in open circuits without the need to eliminate air or prevent it from entering the system. 304 Stainless Steel fittings can be identified by their orange sleeve pressing indicator.

What is the difference bettween AISI 316L and 304?

The primary distinction between AISI 316L and AISI 304 stainless steel is the inclusion of molybdenum in 316L. This element improves its resistance to specific types of corrosion, particularly in environments subject to marine aerosols or chlorides. However, not every environment where supply systems are installed requires AISI 316L steel. Therefore, many manufacturers of steel press fittings provide options made from AISI 304 stainless steel as well.
